Kacie Boblitt - Dancer

Kacie is a NYC based performer from Houston, TX whose work ranges from concert and commercial dance, to immersive and musical theater, modeling, and martial arts. In her eight years of dancing professionally, she has worked with choreographers Larry Keigwin, Nicole Wolcott, Emily Schoen, Loni Landon, Adam Barruch, Hofesh Shecter, Maxine Doyle and Akram Khan. Company credits include international touring with Keigwin + Company and Schoen Movement Company, Fiddler on the Roof (Broadway 2016), LoudHoundMovement, Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More, and most recently the new Kung Fu musical Dragon Spring Phoenix Rise at The Shed. She has performed at Jacobs Pillow, The Joyce Theater, Park Avenue Armory, and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, and in the spring of 2017 she traveled with Keigwin + Company to teach and perform in Côte d’lvoire, Ethiopia, and Tunisia in partnership with the US State Dept. and Dance Motion USA/BAM.

Commercial/modeling credits include: “PURE CASHMERE” ad campaign for W Concept Store, Moonstruck Eatery NYC, “Eleven” clothing line by Venus Williams, and Comedy Central’s Broad City. Kacie is a founding member of Schoen Movement company and occasionally acts as costume manager and choreographic assistant to Emily Schoen.

AJ Parr - Dancer

AJ Tasley Parr is a freelance dancer living in New York City. She is a San Francisco, Bay Area native, and was raised in her mother's dance studio, Roco Dance where she received her early training. AJ is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory where she received her BFA in dance performance. During her undergraduate years she was selected to perform in the works of Doug Varone, Colleen Thomas, Robert Moses, Robert Battle and Adam Barruch. Since moving to New York she has been honored to do projects with David Dorfman, Larry Keigwin, Raja Feather Kelly and Jaclyn Walsh and Baye & Asa. She has been featured in the music videos of Jukebox the Ghost and Darius Christian and performed with pop-artist, Kimbra. She has also performed in the works of Ohad Naharin, Kate Weare, and Peter Chu.  AJ has been selected to participate in Springboard Danse Montreal in 2016 and 2017. While at Springboard, she met Montreal based company, LA TRESSE collective, and later returned to perform with the company. Currently, she is excited to be working with New York based companies Baye & Asa and Schoen Movement Company.

Jack Blackmon - Dancer

Born and raised in Lake Tahoe, CA, Jack Blackmon is a performer, teacher, choreographer, & videographer. His yearning to learn from movement eventually led him to NYU where he performed works by Crystal Pite, Trisha Brown, Bobbi Jene Smith, and Loni Landon. He currently dances for Sean Curran Company, Schoen Movement Company, Paul Singh/Singh & Dance, Nicole Wolcott, and most recently Punchdrunk NYC's "Sleep No More". He is a champion of the contact improv community in New York City. He has assisted and taught at The Juilliard School, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Gibney Dance Center, DeSales University, Muhlenberg College, Austin Community College, and Sam Houston State University.

Alexandra Doyle - Dancer

Alexandra was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA with an innate passion for movement. She is a graduate of The University of Arizona where she received her BFA in Dance. Her studies have taken her across the US and abroad to train and perform under a wide variety of teachers and choreographers. Since graduation, Alexandra has freelanced as a dance artist based in New York City collaborating with artists including Emily Schoen, Doug Gillespie, and B.S. Movement.

Curtis Macdonald - Composer

Curtis Macdonald is a composer, sound designer, producer and saxophonist based in New York City. Curtis has won commissions from Aszure Barton & Artists, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Kate Weare Company, Hubbard Street Dance, Bayerisches Staatsballett (The Bavarian State Ballet), Larry Keigwin & Co., and The Juilliard School. In suit, Curtis’ original theatrical scores have been featured across several modern dance and ballet companies worldwide. Curtis has released three albums as a bandleader, Community Immunity (2011), Twice Through The Wall (2013), and most recently, Scotobiology. He has also authored Introducing Extended Saxophone Techniques published by Mel Bay and is faculty at The New School for Jazz & Contemporary Music and Ohio Wesleyan University's New York Arts Program. Furthermore, Curtis is a producer for WQXR/WNYC where he received a Peabody Award in 2015 for his work on the podcast Meet The Composer.

Shayna Golub - Administrator

Shayna Golub is a New York City based dancer, aerialist and educator. She graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2016 with a BA in Dance and a minor in French. At Muhlenberg she was able to perform in a number of dance pieces including a restaging of Viva Vivaldi choreographed by Gerald Arpino. In her aerial career Shayna has performed many featured aerial roles with Atlas Circus Company. Now, Shayna teaches silks at the 92nd st Y and continues performing at venues such as Dixon Place, The Muse Brooklyn and Body & Pole. She started her journey with Schoen Movement Company through Pentacle’s Cultivating Leadership in Dance internship. She is excited to now be working with SMC as an official administrative assistant.
